Oakmore Park Droughtmasters is a Droughtmaster stud based in the Darling Downs in Queensland. We specialise in breeding animals that are built to withstand everything Queensland can throw at them, whilst maintaining high yield, quality, and ease to work with.
Proven Genetics
Through meticulously selecting both bulls and females who are either home bred or purchased to join the herd at Oakmore Park has been based on their depth of breeding, which has drawn us to source from our pool of foundation genetics. This process has taken years of selecting to enable us to have Consistency and Predictability in our breeding program.
Oakmore Droughtmaster Stud looks forward to the future of the Beef Cattle Industry both in the breeding, selecting, marketing, showing and selling of Australia’s own Droughtmaster. Our vision in our breeding programme is to maintain the attributes that the Drougthmaster was originally developed for, the walking ability, the mothering ability, the fertility, the docility, the do-ability, 'the low maintenance cattle.'
